Edelhoff-Technologies Germany is sailing under new flag. In April 2021, our previous owner sold all stakes to Klaus-Union Group and has taken a well-deserved retirement.

Klaus-Union Group is traditional, family owned organization that operates internationally. The first company was founded 1946 in Bochum, Germany. The group actually has over 1,000 employees worldwide. Klaus-Union Group is one of the world's leading supplier of pumps and valves, especially for the chemical and petrochemical industry. 

For more than 25 years, Edelhoff-Technologies Germany is established as a high specialized manufacturer of technical devices used by catalyst-handling-service providers, as well as by other industrial service providers. Edelhoff-Technologies is the only provider that can supply all technical components from a single-source. All devices by Edelhoff-Technologies are CE-certified. Edelhoff-Technologies is ISO-certified and all employees are trained in accordance with SCC / VCA.

A new partially digital LSS trailer is about to be completed.
A few remaining work, equipping and acceptance tests in the areas of quality, safety and CE conformity, then the tailor-made life support system can be handed over to the customer.
An intensive briefing on the respiratory protection technology and the digital monitoring and data storage systems is mandatory for a professional handling of the LSS Breathing console components

A lot has happened again with the CE certified LSS trailer production in the last few weeks.

Interior work in the control room
- Installation of the LSS console for manual air supply control
- Attachment of the screens for digital monitoring
- Installation of the monitoring control room camera
- Connection of monitoring cameras for reactor platform and reactor inside
Expansion of the rear area
- Attachment of the connection panel
- Installation of the umbilical cord system

Our technical staff build and install all components in a CE-compliant manner in the individual dimensions of the trailer. The positive challenge remains to optimally adapt our technical innovations.

We are currently building another bespoke life support system - this time it's a trailer.

Here, too, installation takes place individually according to customer requirements, which brings with it some challenges, especially in the interior.

The advantages of an LSS in a trailer become especially clear in terms of flexibility:
- can be brought to any location with little effort
- easy repositioning possible without further aids
- quick mobilization with a team bus

Last week, two more Edelhoff Life Support Systems of the new generation were completed and delivered for a new project.

The two LSS, like each of our technologies, have been specially adapted to our customer's wishes.
As a result, each technology is completely individual and each project is a new and exciting challenge for us.

Our new industrial vacuum unit was recently rented out for its first project.
Like all of our different units, LionAir MSA 1000 is also equipped with a nitrogen recirculation and cooling system for working under inert conditions.
One of our technicians was on site as a support for our customer.
The project was successful and the customer was very satisfied with LionAir MSA 1000 and the work progress.

Katrin Schütte-Grahl – mechanical engineer with 12 years of experience in the automotive industry. At Edelhoff, she is responsible for the production of technologies as well as quality and safety management.

Shiva Thirumavalavan – Commercial Manager with 5 years of experience in Edelhoff Anti Panic Helmet production, maintenance and training. At Edelhoff, he is responsible for technology development and coordination of services, and is managing director of Edelhoff Hungary.

Szabolcs Balázs – operations career in the oil, gas and chemical industry for 13 years. Learned from scratch: From technician to project manager and today's managing director of Edelhoff Hungary, he knows the requirements of end customers very well. At Edelhoff he is responsible for technology trainings and further developments of user technologies.

Michael Dufrasnes – more than 20 years of operational and managerial career in the field of nitrogen services for the petrochemical industry with detailed knowledge of all Edelhoff customers. Since 2019 managing director and shareholder of ERI Technical Services, our joint venture with RAJA Group in Kuwait and responsible for sales and operations in the MENA region.

Our vacuum units are specially designed for the handling of fragile catalysts and granules - in other words, the gentle conveying of the material has top priority. For this purpose, Edelhoff is focused on special filter and cyclone technologies for all vacuum units. But now, vacuuming is gentler than ever: Suction and injector nozzles produce a levitation effect while conveying, and a conveying gas bypass system significantly reduces the conveying speed from the reactor to the vacuum unit.

Edelhoff Vacuum Units are individually produced according to customer requirements. They can be mounted on trucks, trailer frames, swap bodies or in 20“container frames so that customers have maximum mobilization flexibility. Of course they have permits for street, rail, water and air transports. One of our latest deliveries went to a customer in Eastern Europe. The challenge was the modification of technical executions for operations in low temperatures.

From now on we use new plug connectors for our LSS Life Support Systems.

The new connectors are easier to handle and very safe. The patented twist lock technology makes it possible: The plug connection engages automatically when plugged in – an audible “click” signals the error-free and tight connection to the user. The connection can easily be loosened by a slight rotation.

These new plug connectors are available in different colors. In our case it´s blue for the LSS communication. While using different colors for the different components in the LSS, a mix-up is impossible.  The continuous use temperature is from -40°C to +100°C.

This time of the pandemic affects us all to a considerable extent, not only personally, but also economically. In these difficult times we have considered what we can do so that our customers can avoid major investments, but don't have to abstain from new technologies that enable them to carry out qualitative shutdowns quickly and cost-effectively with the highest safety standards.

The solution: We offer our customers machines and equipment on the basis of a lease purchase contract. This applies to LSS Life Support Systems, vacuum units, multichannel deltaP technology and much more.

In detail: We build the required technology tailored to customer requirements. Customers pay a fixed monthly leasing rate over the term of the contract. And after the agreed term has expired, there are two models:

a. Return the device or

b. Payment of the agreed rest amount and the device / machine becomes the property of the customer

Brand new mobile Life Support System in stock for rent

Edelhoff Life Support Systems are the safest respiratory protection systems worldwide. The complete LSS with all components is CE certified. Edelhoff deltaP Machine for differential pressure measurement

Edelhoff deltaP measurement technology grants a very fast, efficient and accurate testing of the differential pressure of all tubes over the entire tube level. Up to 6 parallel measuring is possible with the multi-channel devices. With our devices, it is possible to reliably and quickly perform differential pressure measurements on all tube reactors of various designs after a catalyst loading. The integrated tailor-made software enables the representation of a tube mirror overview according to the measured values. A targeted reworking is made possible. Handling and operation are comfortable and optimally adapted to the place of use.

Gas Measurement with Edelhoff mobile Reactor Monitor

Today we delivered two rental Edelhoff Reactor Monitoring Systems to our customer. Maybe rental Equipment is an interesting option for you, too? Based on many years of experience, our mobile multichannel Reactor Monitors have been developed. They are optimally designed to the demandings on site with - ex-protected sensors, weather-protected and robust housings, as well as being very handy. The setup can be delivered in user defined configuration for universal applicability with up to 12 invidual sensors e.g. : 02, LEL, H2S, CO, Temperature & many more. Sensors are designed to operate under Inert conditions, each in protective cage housings.

New Edelhoff Vacuum Unit MSA 8000 delivered

Every time we finish such a highly complex and specialized equipment, the test run and the acceptance has taken place and it is ready for delivery, we are especially glad about the happy faces of the customers. The vacuum unit is built in 20" container frame with permission to be easily transported by rail, road, ship or airplane.

In 2019 our new CEO Mr. Blank started work. He is well known in the  branch worldwide. Due to the great order situation more operational and administrative personnel could be hired.
